I hate spammers!
I’ve been having problems with them ever since I transferred my domain. I don’t know where they came from but I usually receive more than 20 spams in a week. Now today was way overboard, I received 38 spams in my comment area and it took me time to delete all of them!
I kind of imagine experiences and issues in life lately as spams as well. They come in unexpected package in an unexpected timing. Can we just call them “life spammers”? People or situations who are not related to anything about us yet they continue to bug us as if we’d allow them to.
How I wish there are also spam detectors in life that can filter these things.
But as much as we want to have a delete button in life we can never expect life to be perfect much more – spammer free. There will always be people who will bug us about anything and it will just break us. I know I had my own share of experiences when it comes to this but I’ve been praying daily and is asking for favor, grace and self-control when these situations happen.
And yes, the art of forgiving and forgetting. This I guess is one important factor in life that we need to really practice. I am the kind of person who doesn’t hold grudges to people. I keep silent or go out of the room when I get irritated or even at the brink of answering back. But in the end, I have to forgive and forget. I may talk about it or even confront the person but I have to forgive.
There’s no use staying in the situation and dwell on it. I make sure that after an hour or so, I”m back to normal and that I can still talk to him/her. I don’t say sorry to the person or even wait for an apology, I just forgive because in the end, it’s between them and GOD and not me.
And best advice when encountering “spams” in life is to tell them about it, hold your breath or go out of the room and then pray. After doing that, go back and stay calm and wait for the next “spam” to come in.
Happy Wednesday everyone!!!
