One exciting event not to be missed this September is CitiPointe Live Worship concert this September 16, 2009 at the Lamberto Macias Sports Complex.
Although a lot of people are relating this particular worship band to Hillsong or Hillsong United, they are not! CitiPointe is a different church but is from the same locator “down under” – Brisbane, Australia.
According to their church’s online portal:
Citipointe is a great growing church that is made up of passionate, generous and committed people of all ages and races who are unmistakably influencing the world for good and for God.The Church sits on a 100 Acres of land in the southern part of Brisbane and also has a great campus in the western suburbs.
It provides Christian Education starting with its Day Care Centres, through Primary School, High School and finishing with a degree from our Citipointe Ministry College or Christian Heritage College.
Citipointe impacts the surrounding area through community care and youth programs such as Red Frogs (High School and University Chaplaincy); then it reaches around the world through Church planting, Praise and Worship music, Leadership Training and Development, Missions, and International Care and Aid such as She Rescue Homes (rescuing trafficked children).
Although I haven’t heard them live, I am expectant that this particular group can create an atmosphere of worship in Dumaguete.
I’m buying the ticket as soon as I have my paycheck! This is one worthy P 250 or P 300 ticket if you tell me. 🙂
