The fate of the call center industry is not in the hands of Filipinos. Whew…I just realized that when seeing about every other company are pulling out their accounts here in the Philippines.
But come to think of it, something like this seems to be a cycle as always..one good job industry grooving up and another one’s pulling out. Hehehe…
I just learned from a cousin that Intel-Philippines itself is pulling out in the country by the end of the year. It has 3,000 more employees and taking them out for this year alone is a BIG number minus the other companies. as well. Whew, that’s a lot!
Can there be really hope in such a time as this?
I know this may sound crazy, but there is still HOPE. I know I’m melancholic, but I was never pessimistic as always when a nation is at stake. I was always asked by friends before if moving out in the country is a best option with what is happening, I’d say it’s NOT. Moving out may be an escape for it, but another one comes along.
Challenges like these allows us to become wise, strong and makes us learn many other attributes in life. Recession or not, every calamity is an opportunity to understand that GOD is in control. HE IS AND WILL ALWAYS WILL BE!
